The idea for this project was conceived during my participation in the inspiring and unique "Playing with Protons" course for Greek Primary Teachers, an education initiative led by the CMS experiment at CERN". What an amazing experience! Extraordinary place and people!

We are 7 Schools from 3 countries:
based on CERN, its Mission, its accomplishments, its contribution to the world, and its Democratic Culture we are going to inspire young children about Science, STEM Careers, Ethics and Democracy.
Methodology:
Inquiry based learning, interdisciplinary approach, teamwork
Procedure:
In Komotini we will organize 2 workshops one for intrested schools and one extracurricular workshop about Micro & Macro Cosmos for our community during the city's local festival in May. We will set up "Our Planetarium", a planetarium that is made out of paper and wooden skeleton on the 6th, 7th and 8th of May .

Procedure:
- Inquire about CERN & learn about CERN, its Mission, its accomplishments, its contribution to society and its people.
- Students will become journalists under the guidance of their teachers and write in teams short articles about CERN and its Democratic Coulture.
- Students will become translators under the guidance of their teachers and in teams translate articles in Greek, English and Turkish.
- Our challenge is to make collaboratively a booklet about The Democratic Coulture of CERN
- We are going to tweet about it with the hashtag #the_Democratic_Culture_of CERN.
- Implement activities inspired by "Playing with Protons", suggested by Tina Nantsou Physicist, resource http://tinanantsou.blogspot.com/
- Get creative and express ourselves
